OSU Sports - Ideation Internship
From June 2018 to September 2019, I interned with the Ideation Team, an in-house creative ad agency for Oregon State Athletics. The Ideation Team uses four storytelling verticals to showcase the authenticity and grit of the OSU brand. The verticals are video, social media, graphic design, and technology. I worked primarily with the video squad.

As an intern, I shadowed supervisors at sporting events, worked my way into autonomous editing and filming, and even traveled around Oregon with a couple of teammates to help promote OSU's partnership with Toyota. I mainly used a Lumix GH5/GH5s and Premiere Pro to produce highlight reels, promo videos, and fun media for the video board. Additionally, I worked a handful of shifts operating an ENG camera for the video board at Gill Coliseum. The professionals that I worked closely with as an intern included Video Coordinators, the Director of Video and the Associate Athletic Director for Ideation.

Toyota - Let's Go Places
In May 2019, I joined Video Coordinator, Katie Mavis, and Photographer, Kylie Murphy, on a 3-day road trip in the orange Toyota truck. Starting in Corvallis, we made our way around Oregon, capturing “The Beaver State” as we visited Portland, Mt. Hood, Bend, Crater Lake, and Ashland. We ended our journey at the Civil War baseball game in Eugene.

On the road, I helped organize and capture footage for Katie’s promo videos, filled gaps in the schedule with places to visit, and even acted as a subject for a few shots. Together, we marketed Toyota’s tagline, “Let’s Go Places,” and promoted OSU’s partnership with the brand.
